To give more height and light to the new entrance of this historic terraced house in one of the most exclusive parts of Greenwhich Village, the old staircase onto the street was cut and an important and delicate work of digging the foundations was carried out. The old room divisions were demolished on all floors to give contemporary and uniform light to the spaces as if they were large interconnected lofts. The roof has been raised with a glass and crystal cube with terraces on both sides.
