A project midway between past, present and future. The scheme which combines an existing colonial-style villa and L-shaped new build contains fine food shop, restaurant, co-working and offices. A delicate mesh cladding connects the old and the new parts in a semi-trasparent “cloud”. The architectural language uses elongated and squared forms. The project brings together the restoration of traces of colonialism with the challenge of a vision in terms of form and materials.
